Long ago, before emails and instant messaging… before a few quick letters stroked through cyberspace became an acceptable way to express deep sentiments… people sent cards! Tangible, ink and paper cards, that could be displayed on fridge or desktop, to mark a special moment in time. And despite the current obsession with electronic communication, I believe that some messages still deserve a special way to be delivered!

Cards can touch people, it let them know they matter, so whether you are celebrating a friend’s birthday, sending your favorite couple your warmest wedding wishes, or just saying hi to a loved one, send something whimsical…send something unique!

In this spirit, Kroot Co. is a modern take on our culture and folklore, in the oldest tradition of custom-made social stationery, offering richly colorful, graphic, and so lovely cards that reflect the unique taste and style of the sender in Arabic.

My passion and love for searching for the funny details in our daily life, and reflecting those details in a unique and a special card is what I hope to share with you, as it is what sparked my craving to open Kroot Co!  social expression products such as greeting cards, social announcements and invitations, boxed notes, and occasions goods, and the free e-cards website that is soon to be launched inshALLAH.

How it all started… Kroot Co. began as my graduation project. Because of all this current growth of communication, economics, and social aspects into a global & a worldwide scale, we've forgotten or turned our backs to our identity and to what binds us with our culture. And since we didn't realize how much we were leaving behind we still need to remember what used to be good. The aim of my graduation project was putting back fun, laughter and silliness into our lives, and to establish a greeting card company that celebrates and tributes our culture, our traditions and our daily life in our way, in our language!
